The exciting thing about a new, unfamiliar garden is that you don’t know what may be lurking among the weeds. After the rains, the weeds slid out of the ground like butter and I discovered these lurking next to my water meter.
Nobody can tell me what they are except they’re “miniature-daffodils”
and these cute little things which my neighbour calls Canterbury bells
and my sister says are snowdrops.
I look forward to lots more unscheduled eruptions as spring approaches.
